Ace

Lakewood, CO

Ace came to us from the Texas Panhandle after his owner was deported and he landed in a high kill shelter.

He is a big boy 3 years old and 70 pounds.

Given his size we think he is Aussie with either Pyranese or Bernese Mountain dog.

His foster reports: He's sooo sweet and gentle, like a gentle giant.  He loves other dogs and kids, LOVES to play tug and fetch, and is an all-around playful boy.  He would be a great addition to a house with another dog who needs a playmate. He would not be suitable for a house with cats.

He is crating well overnight and when his fosters leave the house.  It's quite hilarious: he has taken a dog blankets as his snuggle blanket, and he likes to make puff balls on it with his front paws (kneading on it like a cat does) when he's getting cozy for the evening.

Ace has a very loving personality, and it's clear that he wants to be included and feel part of the pack.

Ace is such a talented boy that is bilingual, knowing & responding to commands in English and Spanish.

He is neutered, house trained and fully vetted.

It’s clear that Ace came loving home and was well taken care of there. He and his friend Rosie have escaped Texas and bad news.

Now it is time for some Christmas magic for this boy and a new Colorado forever home as a Christmas present.
